An interview with Save the Children’s Senior Director of U.S. Emergencies.

Save the Children anticipates that Hurricane Irma is going to have a devastating impact on children and families throughout Florida. We are trying to prioritize, as we always do, the children and families most at risk in the communities of greatest need. Every response, I’m reminded how incredibly generous the people across America are. And how incredibly fortunate they are that they can trust Save the Children to provide that frontline support during the immediate days and hours of an emergency, as well as long term, for children and families. We will be sending our teams in, to be immediately on the front lines helping protect and support children.
